GUI - Graphical user interface

The PROfab GUI module is the interface
between the operator and the conveyor system. Every change concerning the
system (carrier location, system status, carrier related information, error and
event messages …) is transmitted and visualized through it.
The GUI interface is connected to the CCM
through an Ethernet line.
Its function is to allow an interaction
between the users and the system components: carriers can be selected and
rerouted to a different destination, sections or single zones of the conveyor
system can be paused/resumed, alarm messages and collection events can be
acknowledged, the overall system view can be zoomed to a specific area, logged
events, errors and statistics can be analyzed.
The GUI is executed under a Windows
NT/2000/XP operating system and can run on a separate machine or on the same
computer with the CCM and LCM. There is no limit to the number of GUIs
connected to the CCM, and the different GUIs don’t need necessarily to display
the same overall layout view.
